Fashion design students' graduation fashion show showcases what they have learned throughout 2 years of study and presents their design collection to the audience. The collection I made for the fashion show was a sportswear collection called mountainous. I want to express my love of sport and nature through the sport collection. Combining the smocking and Chinese brush painting into the design can show the harmonious and calm atmosphere from the natural scenery. By combining the smocking and Chinese brush painting, the design can show the harmonious and calm atmosphere from the natural scenery. I am fortunate to have been selected as one of the 12 designers for this fashion show.
Through this fashion show, I have experienced the design process of a fashion collection, from inspiration to completion of the whole clothing. Also, I can handle all the difficulties and develop better time management to work under stress while keeping calm and effective.

Professional Competence
" Sewing problems are also one of the major obstacles I encountered in the show. I made an hole in the sleeve of the garment when I used the overedge machine in year one. Nowadays I am familiar with most of the sewing machines and able to finish a garment neatly."
Lifelong Learner
"When I encounter some problems which bother me a lot, I will hang out and chat with friends to relax. Don't forget to balance work and relaxation. And think positive! Believe in yourself. Be creative and explore more! Don’t be afraid of failure. Although there will be many obstacles during the journey, you have to trust yourself and keep trying."
Global Outlook
"I want to express my love of sport and nature through the sport collection. Combining the smocking and Chinese brush painting into the design can show the harmonious and calm atmosphere from the nature scenery."
Innovative Problem-solver
"When I create the collection, some of the constructions are very creative but it is difficult to make or impossible to make into a real garment. I try to think of different ways to create the first design I drew and ask some advice from the teachers and staff. If there are no other ways to make it, I will design a new one."
