Strategic Synergy: CGMA Global Business Challenge 2024

 

The CGMA Global Business Challenge 2024, hosted by AICPA and CIMA, was a transformative journey for business students Olivia ZHAI, Lacey HE, Fiona WANG, & Isabella ZHU. Tasked with using AI tools to solve complex business scenarios as financial managers for a fictional company, the team engaged in intensive collaboration, research, and strategic planning. The grueling 24-hour final round pushed them to their limits, but their preparation and teamwork shone through.

Support from PolyU and their dedicated coach Dr. William WONG was instrumental in refining their skills, leading them to victory in the Hong Kong championship, the 1st Runner-up, and the Best AI Application Award in the North Asia final. This experience not only tested their abilities but also strengthened their resolve and camaraderie, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journey.
