A group of BRE students have tasted the fun of producing their first-ever interactive VR game. Getting started in VR is confusing. They felt lost to draw a 3D object and not even understand how to navigate the VR landscape. All they knew is that VR is the future of the construction industry and now is the time to start and be part of this digital industrial revolution. In the beginning, the team took almost 4 hours to create a simple 3D object. After countless timeless efforts contributed, they can use the first-person view to look around in the virtualized environment.
What encourages them through all these? Creativity, Teamwork, & Endurance.

Professional Competence
"VR is a new technology for me and the construction industry. I want to learn how to produce an interactive VR game with Unity (software). The most memorable thing in the process is the application in Unity. It is extremely difficult to use because I have not used it before and there are many functions and features for constructing the VR game."

Life-long Learner
"At first, I needed 3-4 hours to create a hat because I was not familiar with the steps and the commands of creating objects in the software. Whenever I tried to create something, I needed to learn from internet resources such as YouTube, forums, or ask for opinions from the professionals."

Teamwork
"i-Space has provided various facilities and support to students to do VR projects. I have used the facilities there, including the HTC Vive, a sensor in ispace to make my VR game. In addition, I would like to say thanks to my lovely group mates and “competitors” who work with me."
