Actually there are many academic conferences and competitions that undergraduate students can participate in. For Gary’s story, he joined the Library VR contest 2017-18, Library VR contest 2018-19, and Green Deck VR Competition. He wanted to demonstrate his passion towards games design especially in the field of 3D VR games. Not only winning the prizes, he also won the opportunity to showcase his VR game in the First International Children VR Film Fest.
What he didn't expect on his champion: an experience that will benefit his professional career onwards.

Professional Competence and Problem Solver
"I have learned the basics of using Unity to develop, handling the animation of the characters, and the application of VR such that I can have sufficient experience. Sometimes there were bugs causing errors during the development. Through testing and checking the code written, the program can run successfully."
Teamwork
"Also, making new friends by greeting with the other teams and the sponsors and having the opportunity to have a chat are beneficial to my future career. I am pleased to see the quality and the number of participants grew year by year."
